What is the process of ordering a work of art?

Once an order is placed on this site and paid for, contact me immediately so we can discuss mounting options. I will then personally submit the order to Bay Photo Lab. I have properly vetted them and their quality and customer service is stellar. They will ship the piece directly to you. Expect to receive your work of art in appx. 2-3 weeks.

Are you including a free backing mount?

All purchased art includes a FREE 1-1/4” flush mount metal frame backing for easy hanging and a pro look! Similar to any art you would find hanging in a gallery ($148.00 value). I’ll guide you with this, as there are a few options for mounting.

What about tax and shipping costs?

The tax and shipping costs are included into the cost. There are no hidden charges. What you see listed is what you pay and nothing more.

Can I return a work of art?

Yes. Most definitely. Return shipping is not covered however. I will refund 100% of the purchase price including the original shipping charge. To begin the return process, request a “return shipping form” via email to tarcrystalline@gmail.com. We should be contacted no later than 10 days after your art was received to qualify for a return, otherwise we cannot honor the return policy. Art will need to be sent back in the condition it was received in.

Do you sign your art?

Not on the piece itself, but I will send a certificate of authenticity after you receive your art. This will include my signature and the number in the series you purchased (i.e 3 of 10).

How long have you been making art?

Since 1980. I started out as an illustrator and progressed to abstract art in college. It’s my favorite type of art because of the freedom and energy of the mark making.

Who are your favorite painters?

Van Gogh, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Julian Schabel and Sean Scully.

Can I meet the artist in person prior to buying a piece?

Yes, I have a home studio in Tarzana CA. 91356. We can arrange to meet and talk about art and life.
